Amplifying Youth Joy
One Night Without a Bed is not a simulation–it’s a show of solidarity with the National Youth H.O.P.E. (Homelessness Outreach, Prevention, and Education) Month initiative. Our mission is to raise awareness about basic human rights, accountability, and service here in Detroit. Together, we can send a message to these young people — who have so often been ignored — that we care and continue to be committed to equity and justice.
About
About Us
The goal of One Night Without a Bed is to: 1) generate momentum behind the achievements of DPC's resilient youth and 2) raise funds so we may continue to provide young people with critical resources, safety, and support during a time when these services are needed more than ever.
Participants engage in 12 hours of education and meaningful activations so that Detroit youth can access to the resources that they need to live to their full potential.
