Every Youth, Every Mile is Detroit Phoenix Center’s year-end campaign uniting the community from November 1 through December 31 to walk alongside youth on their journeys to define their futures with dignity, possibility, and power. Throughout this season, DPC will host a series of subcampaigns and special events that uplift youth voices and strengthen community investment, including Youth H.O.P.E. (Homelessness, Outreach, Prevention, Education) Month activations such as our award-winning One Night Without a Bed event in Detroit, and our Annual Holiday Party in December.

One Night Without a Bed, hosted by DPC’s Youth Action Board, serves as the culminating event for Youth H.O.P.E. Month, bringing together hundreds of young people for an overnight youth service kickback and resource fair designed by and for youth. We extend heartfelt gratitude to our new partners at Old Redford Academy for donating their space to make this signature event possible for DPC’s youth leaders. Donors are invited to sponsor the event with financial or in-kind contributions, such as meals, supplies, and entertainment, and to volunteer alongside our team during the evening.

Each moment in this campaign represents a mile marker toward a brighter future for Detroit youth. Together, these efforts raise essential funds and awareness to ensure every young person has access to safe spaces, vital resources, and opportunities to thrive. Your contribution supports a full ecosystem of programs, from the YouthUp Mobile Drop-In Center and Rapid ROOTS Rehousing Program to Beyond the Ashes™, our youth-led social enterprise.

Community Champion – $750

Community Champions are the heartbeat of DPC’s movement. Your contribution can cover warm meals for youth at One Night Without a Bed, art supplies for SOAR workshops, or holiday gifts that remind young people they are seen and valued. Supporting Champion – $2,500

Keeping the Lights On for Hope

As a Supporting Champion, your gift sustains the everyday essentials that keep DPC’s programs alive. You help cover the cost of supplies for One Night Without a Bed, meals for youth during workshops, and maintenance for the Mobile Drop-In Center that reaches youth across the city. This sponsorship level turns compassion into consistency. Whether a young person needs Wi-Fi for job applications, a warm meal after school, or a conversation that sparks belief in themselves, your support ensures DPC is there. You help create the kind of environment where small acts of care lead to big transformations.

Youth Champion – $5,000

Standing Beside Young Dreamers in Motion

Every Youth Champion helps ensure that the young people DPC serves have consistent access to safety, nourishment, and support. Your sponsorship provides food, hygiene supplies, and mental health workshops during Youth H.O.P.E. Month, and ensures the YouthUp Mobile Unit can stay on the road connecting with youth where they are. You are literally walking alongside Detroit’s youth—fueling the miles between hardship and hope. Your investment helps young people gain stability, develop life skills, and discover new possibilities. This level of giving sends a clear message to our youth: your community believes in you.

Impact Champion – $10,000

Creating Pathways to Stability and Leadership

Impact Champions ensure Detroit youth have the tools and relationships they need to thrive beyond survival. This sponsorship supports transitional housing navigation through the Rapid ROOTS Rehousing program, workforce readiness through DPC’s Summer Leadership Academy, and entrepreneurial skill-building through Beyond the Ashes™. Your contribution at this level directly powers DPC’s holistic model—bridging housing, education, and emotional wellness. Youth supported through these programs are our partners, apprentices, and advocates defining what youth leadership care looks like. As an Impact Champion, you stand beside them as they design solutions, lead initiatives, and build the confidence to pursue their dreams.

Philanthropy Champion – $20,000

As a Philanthropy Champion, your gift is the engine behind DPC’s mission to ensure no young person walks alone. This investment underwrites an entire season of youth-led outreach, from the YouthUp Mobile Drop-In Center to One Night Without a Bed. You’re funding not just services, but dignity—safe spaces where youth can shower, rest, and plan their next steps, and programs that turn lived experience into leadership. Your partnership at this level makes it possible for DPC to expand its reach to more than 2,500 youth each year, mobilizing peers through advocacy, creative arts, and skill-building.
